The MSNC is the school of a fundamentally new format.

It teaches not only the craft, it teaches «sight». The Moscow School
of New Cinema aims to release for the film industry directors, screenwriters, cameramen, actors, knowledge and skills that
require modern cinema.

Industry

To study a craft is to learn to transfer life to a «film».

In order to create «your own» industry you need not only to have
a complex system, consisting of different successfully operating cinematographic mechanisms, you also need to have your own
mythology.

Teachers

Interaction with the key figures of the film industry.

Teaching in the School is built in such a way that during the period
of study the student must begin to orient not only in the cinema,
but also in a wider field of culture and art.The school teachers
are leading Russian and foreign filmmakers.

Workshops

The school organizes master classes of outstanding cinematographers.

Master classes by Philippe Grandrieux, Albert Serra, Fred Kelemen,
Paul Verhoeven, Peter Greenaway, Isabel Stever, Roy Anderson,
Anatoly Vasilyev, Yuri Norshtein and many others took place
at the Moscow School of New Cinema.
